Curtis has been active in emergency services since 2003, when he first joined with Killawog Fire and Marathon Area Volunteer Ambulance. After graduating with a degree in Paramedicine, he has worked for various agencies in the Southern Tier with an emphasis on education. Curtis holds multiple teaching licenses for both National and State EMS education programs and strives to raise the bar for EMS education standards. Curtis joined our team in 2020, at first as a staff paramedic, and assisted the board in securing the EMS contract with the town. After the successful partnership with the town, was offered the Director of Operations position to continue to propel the organization into the new era of Candor EMS
